ContractorSearch.ai provides a searchable interface to publicly available contractor licensing data sourced from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). We aggregate, format, and present this data for informational purposes.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond normal personal use.
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its data.
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
Impersonate another person or entity when using the Service.

5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

All contractor data displayed on ContractorSearch.ai is sourced from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). While we make every effort to keep data current, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information. License status, classifications, and other details may change at any time. Always verify critical information directly with the CSLB at www.cslb.ca.gov.

6. Subscription Terms

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Free Trial

New users may receive a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your payment method will be charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial expires.

8. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 7 days of your initial charge for a full refund. Subsequent billing cycles are non-refundable but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, logos, and proprietary content, is owned by ContractorSearch.ai. CSLB data is publicly sourced and not claimed as proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContractorSearch.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
